Good morning gang! How are we feeling on this lovely Tuesday? With the weather finally getting nicer in my neck of the woods, I keep thinking about summer activities. What sounds better to you: a day at the beach, a nice long hike, or a weekend camping? I'll choose the beach most of the time, but I haven't been camping in a long time, and that's starting to sound like fun. I'm not the most outdoorsy person, but when the weather gets good, I'm up for a good time!

Good Morning and happy Monday!! Monday is sure a day alright! Do you guys drink sparkling water? Ever since it became easily available, I have been drinking sparkling water like I've got a problem. 😅 It's has to be one of the better things to have way too much of, but I'm gonna try to drink just a little bit less this week. Bubly and Aha are my go-tos cause they're easily available around me, but LaCroix and Topo Chico are the best!

On the topic of bookstores, a lot of my best finds have been at thrift stores. As I've told a few of you, I have a horrible habit of wanting to adopt all of the books at the thrift store, but the good news is that I've gotten quite good at finding the good stuff, in the wasteland that often is a thrift store's book section. Last week, I found the last Margaret Atwood book from the Oryx and Crake series that I needed, Welcome to Night vale, an interesting book on the history of plagues, a guide to making kombucha, and a tiny, miniature copy of the Joy of Cooking!! It feels so good to find something you actually want to read at the thrift store, and I'm so glad I've given so many books a good home!

Good morning and happy Saturday!! Is there anything better than a bookstore? I had the pleasure of going to the bookstore earlier this week thanks to a lovely subscriber, and I just love everything about it. I love walking in and instantly being encapsulated by the quiet and reverence of a place meant to house the written word. I love the smell, I love walking down the aisles and picking out books solely by the covers and fonts and images, and I especially love picking a book up, feeling its weight, stroking its spine, and feeling the pages rustle. Books are one of my favorite things in this world, and I will never not get excited when a trip to the bookstore is scheduled!

What's your favorite season? Fall is probably my favorite, cause Halloween, and the leaves, and the slow turn from warm to cool is quite nice after a hot summer, but spring is also so wonderful, especially now that I'm quite into gardening. Winter has always been too dark and dreary for me (I just want to sleep and eat lol), and while summer definitely has its benefits, it's just too hot for me a lot of the time, and with the smoke from the wildfires, it's so hard to properly enjoy summer.
