Daydreaming about vacations has not in fact made work go by quickly lol. One thing that I love about YouTube and the interwebs is being able to watch travel vlogging videos. There are a few people of YouTube that make really interesting videos about parts of the world that just aren't shown a whole lot. There's this one guy that used to go to Russia and all the Eastern Bloc countries, and it is incredibly cool to see what daily life is like in a small Russian town. I've been watching this other guy who hitchhikes around China and elsewhere in Asia - he also has a new video in North Korea - and I find his content to be incredibly illuminating

Good morning and happy Humpday!! I keep daydreaming about going on a little vacation cause it's been a hot minute, and I'm curious where y'all like to go on vacation. I think my dream trip is Japan. The food, and the culture, and the food (never forget the food!!) just gets me so excited. I've always been super interested in Russia and all of the former Soviet countries, and China, and North Korea, and pretty much any country that doesn't get a lot of coverage in the west. They're just such interesting places - but probably not for a vacation lol. I went to Vegas years ago and had the best time. It's just such a ridiculous place, and the food is good (good food is like 90% of a vacation for me). More realistically, maybe a little nature retreat, or a beach vacation during the summer? Anyway, let me know where you like to go. Hopefully it'll make work go by more quickly 😅

For me, I love how sex can be this unspoken language, where you're communicating with one another through touch, and movements, and actions, and it's this back and forth. Good morning my lovely library patrons!! How are you today? I've been trying to figure out a drip irrigation system for my vegetable garden for this year, as I just don't think I'll have the time to hand water everything. So that's where my brain is at lol. It's still a while before anything can go in the ground, but I'm hopefully gonna start some seedlings this week, and I'm getting everything tidy and ready for planting. I also keep seeing everyone posting their little baby chicks for sale in the chicken groups near me, and I'm having to stop myself from getting a whole bunch more chickens haha
