Sometimes when I wake up alone, I catch myself wondering… what if I didn’t? You, next to me. Half-asleep. Me still warm under the blanket, messy hair, probably smirking a little.

Would you say “good morning”? Or something cheeky like, “You always look this hot when you wake up?” Or maybe… you’d just pull me closer and skip the words altogether 😏

Me? I know exactly what I’d say: “You’re awake… but you’re not safe yet.”
(Then hide under the blanket again.)
