Hey everyone — just wanted to check in and see if anyone else is experiencing glitches on here lately?

Over the last day or two, I’ve had a huge wave of new subscribers, which is amazing — but also a little confusing because hardly anyone is responding to my messages, and I’m not seeing replies or engagement like usual. I’ve been sending out voice notes and DMs, but it seems like either they’re not going through, people can’t hear them, or something’s blocking responses. It’s super out of the ordinary, and I just want to make sure I’m not the only one this is happening to.

If you’re having the same issue — messages disappearing, voice notes not working, or anything weird with notifications — let me know. I’ve already made a video about it, too, but I wanted to post it here in case others are seeing something similar. Thanks for bearing with me while I figure out what’s going on!

It originated in Batangas, Philippines, and is often associated with the hacienderos (landowners) and ilustrados (educated elite) of the Spanish colonial period.

Key Features & Evolution: Low, Reclined Seat – Designed for comfort in the tropical climate.

Wide Armrests – Allows users to rest their arms or even place small items like drinks or betel nut containers.

Narra or Mahogany Wood – Traditionally made from Philippine hardwood, making it sturdy and long-lasting.

Carved Details – Some butaka chairs feature intricate carvings, including animals, flora, or historical symbols.

Originally used in ancestral homes and haciendas, the butaka became a status symbol among the Filipino elite. Today, it remains a beloved heritage piece, blending colonial Spanish, indigenous Filipino, and Asian influences.

The bed cost 170 from a local furniture maker here in the Philippines. The blankets cost about 10 bucks and do did the pillows.
